Sberbank: digitization replaces routine and saves time for communication 20:36

Natalia Akhmina, Senior Managing Director of HR, Digital Transformation at Sberbank, says that digitalization does not replace live communication, it saves time and allows you to overcome the routine of daily business processes. As part of the announcement of 2022 employer rating results from HeadHunter, an interview titled “Digitization of HR processes: the pulse of the market” was held, where a Sber representative talked about the experience and practices of the best employer in the country. by rating in 2022.

“For Sber, any employee, manager, former or future employee of our organization is first and foremost our customer. As part of Sber’s customer focus concept, we want to provide our staff with the services, points of contact and customer experience they are accustomed to in daily life. Therefore, we have a fully digital process to manage all services. We did this in our own development – on the Pulse platform. It entered the corporate client market last year,” said Akhmina.

According to him, Sber’s internal communications are built on tools that are interspersed in the outline of the working day of employees, which are as accessible as possible and at the same time allow multitasking. “People use things that give them value. More than half of the employees visit our Pulse platform every day and solve their personnel problems, read the news, books, study,” Akhmina said.

According to him, large-scale changes in the world of HR are shaped around the idea that digitalization cannot replace personal communication. It also saves time for live communication and high-quality offline dialogue only.

“Digitalization brings direct cost savings to businesses. This is primarily the cost of implementing processes, as speeds increase and physical and time costs are eliminated. But for Sber, digitalization is also important in terms of the need for our employees to get the customer experience they expect from us, including from a digital company. How many employees regularly use our tools, what grades they give, and the percentage of returns to the platform are important to us. “Overall, digitalization has taught us that it is increasingly difficult to let go of technological innovation as you quickly become accustomed to new opportunities that you may not have thought of at first.”

Recall that the Pulse platform is Sber’s own development and is available to corporate customers and provides real-time access to HR services. According to Sberbank, the company’s more than 115,000 employees use Pulse every day.
