Alexei Grivach, Deputy Director General of the National Energy Security Fund (NESF), said Russia will likely never learn the results of the investigation into the sabotage at Nord Stream. He said this in an interview with “Lentoy.ru”.
“I think it has long been clear to everyone that this is not an investigation: at best a spoofing to slow down the process, and at worst an attempt to conceal evidence pointing to perpetrators and customers. This is sabotage,” Grivach commented, commenting that the investigation into the incident continues without the involvement of Russia.
He is of the opinion that with such an approach, Moscow will never know the results of the investigation and that what will be officially announced as a result of the investigation largely depends on the political situation.
Former German Chancellor Olaf Scholz declarationThe investigation continues into the explosions in the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines in Swedish and Danish waters.
