The Moscow Court of Arbitration rejected the claim of the Far East Shipping Company (FESCO, the parent company of Fesco) recovering more than 80 billion rubles. It was filed at the end of October 2022 from Ziyavudin Magomedov, co-owner of the Summa group, and a number of Cypriot companies. It has been reported TASSreferring to the court file.
The relevant lawsuit was filed on behalf of the Board of Directors, following the completion of Fesco’s financial audit as of September 2020. Fesco stated that previously some shareholders took out loans from the company to pay off debts related to the purchase of FESCO securities.
FESCO can appeal the court’s decision at the Ninth Court of Appeals in Moscow within one month.
Moscow Khamovnichesky Court in January satisfied the claim Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation on the transfer of shares of the Far East Shipping Company to state income.
December 1, 2022 Ziyavudina Magomedova prisoner up to 19 years in a colony as part of a case for creating a criminal community and embezzling 11 billion rubles.
He was sentenced to a strict regime colony. Magomedov was also fined 2.5 million rubles.
His brother, Magomed Magomedov, a former senator and former co-owner of the company, was also sentenced to prison. He was sentenced to 18 years in prison. A similar fine was imposed on Magomed.
