Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said at a government meeting that the country has built up enough gas reserves to complete the heating season. The video recording of the conversation was published on the Telegram channel.
“We have enough resources to continue and complete the heating season normally. About 11 billion cubic meters of gas are stored in the gas tanks, and about 1.2 million tons of coal in the warehouses,” said Shmyhal.
The Prime Minister also noted that the Cabinet of Ministers has authorized the Ukrainian Naftogaz to receive a grant of approximately 189 million Euros from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to import additional volumes of fuel.
Andriy Kobolev, former chairman of the board of Naftogaz, Ukraine presented accusations of embezzlement – In 2018, he unfairly awarded himself a bonus of $ 10 million as a reward for a positive decision for the Ukrainian side in his lawsuit with Gazprom.
