Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the words of the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin during the briefing that 76% of foreign companies do not leave the Russian market.
“Of course there are companies that remain in the market. One is gone, one is left. Kremlin Spokesperson said, “Those who left couldn’t leave a gap, it’s full.”
Peskov emphasized that domestic businesses are “acting agile” to fill niches.

After Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, most foreign companies left the Russian market or temporarily suspended their activities in the country. Among them are such giants as McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Apple, Siemens and others.
