The French engineering company GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz) announced its decision to suspend its work in the Russian Federation and terminated cooperation with the Russian shipbuilding company Zvezda under a contract that provides for the construction of 15 icebreaker gas carriers. They stated that after conducting an in-depth analysis of the last two EU sanctions packages against the Russian Federation, which includes a ban on the provision of engineering services to Russian enterprises, GTT has decided to suspend its activities in Russia.
The company stressed that from January 8, its contract with Zvezda will be suspended.
