“From January to May 2022, the rights of 14.9 thousand shareholders were restored with the help of the Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Shareholders and Subjects of the Russian Federation. This means that the citizens received their apartments. Or monetary compensation was paid for the purchase of housing in objects considered problematic. As of today, the rights of 119.4 thousand citizens need to be restored,” he said.
As noted in the department, at the moment the Fund helps deceived shareholders in two ways: by completing the construction of “problematic” houses, then transferring apartments to citizens and paying compensation. Also, districts have their own mechanisms to help deceived shareholders.
