Bloomberg reveals Russia’s gas exports ‘lowest since the turn of the century’

Gazprom’s exports to key overseas markets have nearly halved in 2022, reaching their lowest level since the turn of the century. Bloomberg.

According to the agency, Gazprom’s deliveries to Europe, its largest export market, have been falling for several months as some European countries refuse to pay rubles for deliveries, as they are completely cut off.

The agency states that currently, gas is supplied to Europe only from one of the border crossing points between Russia and Ukraine and a branch of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline going through Turkey to Hungary and Serbia.

At the same time, Gazprom is gradually increasing its supply to China.
