Today the market is being redistributed. Popular brands are losing ground and their place is being taken by other, once unpopular cars. No, consumer taste has not changed. And even the needs remained the same. And these are the possibilities…
Not only buyers, but also sellers cannot boast of opportunities. They sell as best they can, rack up new cars, carefully apportion future receipts, and switch to aftermarket and parallel imports. In order for new cars to last several months, the cost rises to incredible values. But sales of just a few cars fuel the month. We have already written who these people are who buy cars even at such prices.
Opportunities and automakers (not all of them, of course) have become modest. Parts shortages and supply chain disruptions are the problems of the entire global automotive industry. Factories would gladly fill dealers’ warehouses to the eyeballs, but there is none and the turbulent rivers of supplies turned into streams. And here are 18 automakers whose sales in Russia fell the most compared to sales in September 2021.
