Soon an SUV and a pick-up will appear in the Skoda range. More precisely, a separate brand will be created for them – Scout (now such a prefix for the name is received by special terrain versions of models skoda).
Jeff Bade, vintage fanatic Explorer, found out some details about future Scout machines. According to him, cars are not made on the MEB platform.
This means Scout models will not look like cars Volkswagen ID.4. These machines appear to have their own platform and that is a significant investment in the project. But this conflicts with Volkswagen’s plans to move all electric vehicles to one platform. However, as explained, this is a long-term perspective. Meanwhile, for example, Audi and Porsche are developing their own PPE platform and nobody is stopping them.

Given the popularity of SUVs, a utilitarian electric platform will come in handy.
Of course, this is not official information, but the photo is tempting.
