Tools for pushing pistons into brake cylinders
It is also possible to press the pistons into the brake cylinders of the front wheels when replacing the brake pads with a holder. Not good, of course, but if you’re careful, you can handle it. But the rear brake mechanisms, combined with the parking brake, simply won’t work. The plunger must be pressed and turned at the same time.
A set of simple tools makes it easy to swap out both the front and rear pads.

There is nothing more insulting than the situation where a small part fell into the cavity of the unit, which cannot be easily removed to shake the fugitive out. Once the horror of a car enthusiast was a nut that fell into a carburetor, but now there are plenty of bottlenecks.
To remove a steel part from such a place, use a flexible rod with a powerful magnet that is firmly attached. Rods with a built-in flashlight are especially useful.
Circlip pliers
When replacing bearings, we often see circlips holding them axially. The ends of the split ring have small holes in which to remove the ring you need to insert the pins of the pliers and squeeze or loosen them.

The valves of old cars had a stem diameter of 8 or even 10 mm. They could be crushed with blows through a pipe and assembled with the simplest devices. Modern engines have a valve stem diameter of only 5 mm. And in order not to bend the valves, you need to use a device that gently compresses the springs with a couple of screws.
Spring Ties
All work on the MacPherson struts and most other types of suspension work involves removing the springs. To ensure safety and the ability to do the job, the spring must be compressed before being disassembled. It allows you to make different types of spring tires, but tires with locks on the coils are especially safe and convenient (dark in the photo).
Plastic parts and upholstery removers
Removing plastic trim parts with a knife or screwdriver does not give very good results. You can cut yourself and scratch the details. There are plastic parts puller kits that will not damage them and speed up the work. It is more likely that the caps will remain intact (they are also known as clips).
