Estonia resident was sentenced to a scooter at 00:48 speed

The Estonian court sentenced a 48 -year -old man to two months in prison for accelerating an electric Scooter. This was reported by television and radio company Suspension.

In August 2023, the police stopped a resident in Narva when it rides at a speed of 55 km/h at a scooter at a speed of 25 km/h. In addition, Scooter did not have a driver’s license.

This case was previously discussed in court, but the decision was given in favor of the criminal. According to the court, the electric ferry cannot be accepted as a motorcycle, so the driver does not have to have rights.

However, the Estonian State Court had to review this position. The lower court received traffic rules for driving and motorcycles and the defendants’ repeatedly considering the violations of the defendants and sentenced them to two months of imprisonment. The Regional Court rejected the defense appeal and the penalty entered the legal power.
