The Moskvich automobile plant plans to keep car prices low until the end of 2024. This was announced by the commercial director of the Maxim Zlatokrylets enterprise at the IMAF-2024 forum.

“It is clear that you can always achieve your profitability target in two ways: by increasing prices or by reducing production costs. We are doing everything to work on production costs this year to maintain the pricing we were able to at the beginning of this year at least until the end of this year,” he said.

Zlatokrylets added that prices are expected to increase in 2025 in any case, but it is not yet known to what extent this will affect Moskvich.

Before that reportedIt was stated that the Moskvich automobile plant will produce original cars from Russian steel in 2026.

The company plans to produce a car with an internal combustion engine. In 2025, it wants to localize telematics, soft seat elements, fuel tanks, etc. By 2026, Moskvich should present its own car.

The company also noted that there were difficulties in developing the new product due to the inability to implement stamp production at the enterprise.
