“The fact is that during braking the disc wears unevenly. In addition, a serrated layer is formed, which is a “mirror”, which significantly reduces braking efficiency and increases the time for grinding new pads to the disc. When rotating the discs, just before changing the pads, this serrated layer is removed and minor irregularities are smoothed out,” the message reads.
