The assembly of the Lada Niva Legend SUV is expected on July 12, that is, a day earlier than planned, the Atypical AvtoVAZ public reported on the VKontakte social network. On this day, 45 SUVs will roll off the assembly line, and in total the aim is to assemble about 200 “three doors” per day this month with a single shift operation.
For example, AVTOVAZ will be able to produce a total of approximately 11,000 Lada Granta Classic’22 and Niva Legend cars in July.
Whether the “anti-crisis” version of the Lada Niva Legend will roll off the assembly line has not been specified, but it was previously assumed that it would be a car without ABS and airbags, with seat belts from a domestic manufacturer.
The platform-based Niva Travel is also being produced on the same assembly line, but assembly will resume later in August.
