Muscovites living in the northern and eastern Central Federal District and residents of other cities should postpone replacing the winter tires of their vehicles with summer tires until the end of April. Weather forecaster Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecast center, warned about this in a conversation with the correspondent of socialbites.ca.
“Residents of Voronezh and cities to its south can now replace winter tires with summer tires. However, I would advise Russians living further north to wait. “It’s best they postpone changing tires until April 20 because cloudy weather will return early next month,” the forecaster advised.
According to Shuvalov, cold weather is expected again in central Russia on April 5. He noted that at the beginning of the month, the temperature at night would drop to freezing and even snow would fall.
“In this context, I advise drivers living in the north of Voronezh to postpone changing tires. “This also applies to Muscovites and citizens traveling by car from southern cities to northern cities,” he said.
Before that Shuvalov saidIt was stated that in the last days of March the weather in Moscow can warm up to +15 °C, and in the first three days of April it will warm up to +18 °C.
