“Our main task is to identify dangerous areas, change the infrastructure in them, introduce slow zones and also work with personal SIMs to ensure that they are as safe as shared SIMs, so that their speeds are automatically reduced and these slow zones affect them too. Don’t ban scooters , but rebuild dangerous areas,” Stasiuk said.
It happened before that knownIt was stated that the Moscow City Duma plans to accelerate the increase in penalties for drivers of electric scooters and personal mobility devices (SIM).
State supported A bill regulating the movement of electric scooters and other personal mobility devices (PIMs). Among other things, it includes the imposition of fines of up to 30 thousand rubles, as well as other penalties for the use of electric scooters under alcohol.
Also Evgeniy Loginovsky, deputy head of the traffic police department of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia stated about the need to limit the speed of movement on electric scooters and other SIMs to 20 km/h. There is currently a speed limit of 25 km/h in the capital and there are also slow zones where speeds are limited to 5-15 km/h.
