Rodionov stated that when an engine runs with worn spark plugs, the fuel in the cylinder may not burn completely and as a result, loss of engine power, poor starting and excessive fuel consumption will occur. In addition, unburned fuel remains in the cylinders, enters the oil and dilutes it. Therefore, it loses its lubricating properties. The result is a sharp reduction in engine life.

Washing the injectors without disassembling them is also a maintenance that should be done every 40 thousand km. If the injector does not add enough fuel, the quality of the air-fuel mixture will deteriorate, resulting in unstable engine operation and loss of dynamics. The second option is fuel overflow from the injector. Here the consequences are more serious; water hammer is possible (rare, but still risks).

In addition, if the air filter is not replaced in time, there will be a loss of power, fuel consumption will increase, but even worse, engine wear will accelerate, and dirt and dust particles will have a corrosive effect on the engine metals.
