The issue of recognition of driver’s licenses issued in Armenia in Russia is being discussed by the authorities of the two countries. In this respect reports “Sputnik Armenia”, referring to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“We inform you that the issue of recognition of driver’s licenses issued by Armenian authorities on the territory of the Russian Federation is on the agenda of bilateral talks,” the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told the publication.
The foreign ministry of this country added that Russia and Armenia draw attention to the importance of the necessary legal regulation to regulate the rights of Armenian citizens to drive vehicles for commercial activities in the Russian Federation.
Before that, the State Duma of the Russian Federation indefinitely postponed the consideration of the bill on the recognition of driver’s licenses of Armenian citizens for work and entrepreneurship in Russia.
It was previously known in Russia will grow longer Three-year driver’s license that expires in 2024 and 2025.
