Anticipating the completion of production of the Audi R8 sports car with a V10 gasoline engine, the German company launched a limited edition version of the car for the Japanese market. In this respect reports Carbuzz.
The farewell version will be released in an 8-car version. The limited edition cars are finished in matte white and feature bronze-coloured 20-spoke wheels that reveal red brake calipers. The combination of red white and gold colors is traditionally popular in Japan.
The mirrors, front spoiler, rear wing and diffuser are made of carbon fiber. The seats are covered in black leather with white stitching, and faux suede – Alcantara – is used for the headliner and boot. There are covers on the sills with Japan Final Edition written on them.
The farewell version of the Audi R8 to the Japanese market is equipped with naturally aspirated V10 engines with a volume of 5.2 liters and a power of 612 hp. The engine is paired with a 7-speed S-tronic robot. The price of the car is 35 million yen (22 million rubles).
