AvtoVAZ plans to sell the extended Lada Aura sedan to private customers and supply these cars exclusively for government needs. In this respect reports TASS, citing AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov.

“Of course, we also plan to supply it to a relatively limited extent, including the private sector. And I am sure that it will find its buyers,” the agency reports Sokolov.

The head of AvtoVAZ said that there is high demand for Lada Aura from representatives of federal and regional authorities. The president of the company announced that customers from government agencies are ready to dismantle a batch of pilot machines, among other things.

In October, AvtoVAZ vice president Sergei Gromak announced the start of production of Lada Aura expected In September 2024.

The public demonstration of the extended Lada Aura sedan took place in Sochi. The vehicle is equipped with a 1.8 gasoline engine and automatic transmission.
