Fraudsters lured four Chinese crossovers worth a total of 17 million rubles from the Nizhegorodets car dealer, pretending to be corporate customers of the Moscow metro. In this respect reports Telegram channel “112”.
According to him, an unknown woman called the car dealership, introduced herself as an employee of the purchasing department of the Moscow Metro and ordered four cars – Haval F7 and F7x crossovers, as well as Geely Monjaro and Exeed VX. The parties agreed via email to pay the transaction price within 10 days of receiving the cars. On the appointed day, tow trucks arrived at the car dealership to pick up cars, led by a man from the metro who presented a general power of attorney.
After representatives of the car dealership came to the Moscow Metro office to collect money, it turned out that no one had ordered a car, and the email with which the attacker contacted the car dealership did not belong to the metro. The damaged car dealer estimated the damage at 17 million rubles.
