Since the beginning of this year (January to June), the number of car washes in Moscow is more than 6%, St. Petersburg – 7%, in Nizhny Novgorod – almost 6%. This is stated in a study specially prepared for socialbites.ca by 2GIS.
If we compare the indicators of the beginning of June 2022 with the results for the same date a year ago, in some cities there is an even more significant amount of negative dynamics: in Nizhny Novgorod 10% of car washes stopped working, in Petersburg – 9%, in Kazan – 5%.
A similar situation was noted in such large cities as Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar, Samara, Ufa, Voronezh. However, there are megacities where the number of car washes is almost unchanged or slightly increased. These are Volgograd, Perm, Rostov-on-Don.
About the reasons for the decrease in the number of car washes in Russia and whether this service will continue in the future you read In the material “socialbites.ca”.
