Russian auto factories AvtoVAZ and UAZ will begin to install Chinese anti-lock braking system (ABS) on their cars. About informs Drom.ru.
The ABS supplier of AvtoVAZ will be the Chinese company Trinova. The first model to come off the assembly line with Chinese ABS will be the Lada Largus. The release of such machines was planned for the end of June, but due to problems with the supply of spare parts to Russia, the deadline was postponed to the end of July. Also, AvtoVAZ plans to start the production of Lada Granta and Lada Niva with a new anti-lock braking system.
It is planned to equip UAZ vehicles with ABS from the Chinese company APG. Anti-lock braking systems are an analogue of the previously installed German Bosch 8.1.
