Abkhazia has introduced compulsory insurance for car owners coming to the republic from other countries. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Sputnik Abkhazia”.
It is stated that on the Russian-Abkhazian border, liability insurance policies are sold at the Bzyb and Primorskoye traffic police stations. To date, outlets are open from 8:00 to 21:00, but it is planned to transfer them to 24-hour operation.
The cost of the policy depends on the number of days. So, 3-day insurance will cost 500 rubles, 15 days – 1000 rubles, for a year – 8500 rubles. The penalty for refusing the application for insurance is 600 rubles.
In the event of a traffic accident, 120 thousand rubles will be paid to the driver of the insured vehicle. This amount also includes the provision of medical care.
Previously reportedthat the car fell into a hole formed on the road in Izhevsk. The uninjured man got out of the vehicle by his own means.
