Production of the Sollers ST6, renamed the Chinese JAC T6, started in September in Vladivostok, at the factory where Mazda cars were previously produced. The pickup truck received a 2.0 gasoline turbo engine (176 hp; 290 Nm) and a turbodiesel of the same volume (136 hp; 320 Nm), the transmission is exclusively mechanical. Currently, dealers only have diesel-powered vehicles in stock.
The vehicle is equipped with a four-wheel drive system with a rigid front axle connection. The basic equipment of the pickup includes two airbags, air conditioning, cruise control, on-board computer, audio system, electrically adjustable side mirrors and power windows, heated front seats and rear parking sensors.
in Sollers saidThat they plan to install localized engines and transmissions on the ST6 and use Russian electronics in the assembly. The company plans to start production of another Sollers model in 2024.
