Citroen has introduced the new fourth generation of the C3 hatchback. In this respect reports company press service.
In its fourth generation, the C3 is built on the modular CMP platform. The length of the car is 4000 mm and the wheelbase is 2540 mm. The trunk increased to 310 liters. The company said that the cabin has become noticeably larger: there is more space both above the passengers’ heads and in the elbow and knee area. The front panel now consists of three levels. The diagonal of the central screen is 10.5 inches. The transmission mode selector is located in the central tunnel, and not on the steering column, as, for example, on the new Peugeot 3008.
The first to enter the European market will be the electric version of the Citroen e-C3. Its power will be 113 hp. The maximum speed of the car, which can reach 100 km/h in 11 seconds, will be 135 km/h. Cruising range – 320 km. In 2025, the range will be supplemented by a simpler version with a smaller battery and a range not exceeding 200 km. There will also be two gasoline modifications with a 1.2-liter engine and 100 hp. Sales of the new product will start in the second half of 2024.
