A passenger attacked a taxi driver with a knife in Orenburg. In this respect reports Regional press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
“A taxi driver contacted the police department with a report of an attempt to steal a car. “During the investigation, police officers discovered that a man attacked a taxi driver on Kommunarov Street in the morning and took the car away, threatening him with a knife,” it said.
It was recorded that the attacker lost control and caused the accident. After that he disappeared. The police then detained the thief. A criminal case has been opened, the man faces 12 years in prison.
Earlier in Barnaul, a drunk driver lost control and collapsed to a tram stop full of people. The accident occurred on Krasnoarmeysky Boulevard. Eyewitnesses stated that the car hit the girl and she flew onto the rails. After the accident, the white station wagon got stuck in the metal fence separating the road from the tram tracks.
