Toyota will launch a new RAV4-sized crossover 12:39

Japanese company Toyota plans to launch a new crossover model called Land Hopper. In this respect reports motor1.com.

It is stated that the car will resemble the Toyota Compact Cruiser EV concept model from the outside, and its dimensions will be comparable to the RAV4. The expected price in Japan is between 3 million and 3.8 million yen (2.0-2.5 million rubles at the exchange rate at the time of publication).

According to the publication, Land Hopper may have a 2.0-liter gasoline engine as well as a 1.8-liter hybrid power unit. The premiere of the new product may take place at the end of this year, and sales will start in mid-2024.

This is before Toyota presented new luxury crossover Century. The model, which has been offered only as a sedan since 1967, will now be produced in parallel with the sedan and crossover. The price of the Toyota Century crossover is 25 million yen (about 16.5 million rubles at the exchange rate at the time of publication).
