The price of auto parts rose 5% right after the ruble fell 11:30

In July 2023, the cost of auto parts increased by 5% due to the depreciation of the ruble against the US dollar and the euro. Tatyana Ovchinnikova, director of the Fit Service international network of automobile services, told socialbites.ca about this.

“The dollar was growing steadily in June, especially noticeable at the end of the month. Therefore, auto parts prices reacted in July. Ovchinnikova said the average growth in July was 5% compared to June 2023.

According to him, the cost of some parts did not change, but growth was high for a number of mass models. For example, air filters and brake pads increased by 20% for Hyundai Solaris and brake discs and pads for Kia Rio by 9%.

The interlocutor added that if the inflation rate of the Russian currency falls, the company expects a decrease in the prices of spare parts.
