The author of the video says in the description that while paving the road, a giant funnel-shaped whirlwind flew up and started collecting dust from the ground. Astonished road builders witnessed this unusual phenomenon.
It is good that the whirlwind was not strong – neither people nor equipment were injured. The video was shot near Leesburg International Airport in early May.
In the comments, people reacted differently to this video. Some of the most desperate even wrote that they would definitely stand in the middle of the funnel screaming, “This is grand!”
In general, there were several people who supported this idea. Many wanted to feel what it is like from the inside.

A tornado, or tornado (from Spanish tornar – “twist, twist”) is an atmospheric vortex that occurs in a rain (thunder) cloud and spreads downward, often to the earth’s surface, in the form of a cloud sleeve or trunk with a diameter of tens and hundreds of meters. On average, the diameter of a tornado funnel in the lower part is 300-400 m, but it can reach 1.5-4.2 km. A tornado is dangerous because it develops tremendous speed (more than 100 km/h) and can destroy everything in its path.
