Russian automaker AvtoVAZ plans to terminate dealer contracts with partners who do not comply with the company’s pricing policy. In this respect informs Autonews, referring to the press service of the brand.
It was noted that the automaker reacted in this way to the information that Moscow Lada dealers were offering an updated Vesta model at much higher prices than recommended. The company promised that if the car of the required configuration is in the warehouse of the dealer or factory, it will guarantee that the car will be sold to the buyer at the recommended price on the official Lada website.
Sales of the updated Lada Vesta model started on June 9, 2023. The price of a sedan starts from 1,239,900 rubles (in the Comfort package with a 90-horsepower engine). For the initial configuration, a choice of 90 or 106 horsepower engines is available, along with a five-speed manual transmission. The recommended retail price of a sedan in the top-end Techno configuration is 1,564,900 rubles.
