The management of the Russian Avtotor plant decided to allocate the plots for vegetable gardens to its employees. This is stated in the press release of the company (at the disposal of Gazeta.ru).
“In order to provide additional social support to the business’s employees, Avtotor’s shareholders and management have decided to allocate free land to anyone who wants to organize a vegetable garden,” the report says.
It is stated that the size of a parcel is 10 acres. In the territory of the villages of Kholmogorovka and Lyublino, two plots of land of 300 hectares in total belonging to the company were allocated for the employees of the plant.
On the eve of the May holidays, the workers of the Avtotor factory, who applied for the plot, inspected their future garden. A locally produced seed potato sale was organized to ensure future harvests in the plant workers’ gardens.
