The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has announced that it continues to strengthen cooperation with the countries of South America. At least 100 Russian SUVs will be delivered to Bolivia by the end of 2023.
The Bolivian distributor became the first foreign partner of UAZ to refuse to pay in US dollars and pay for cars in rubles.
Recall that UAZ has been subject to targeted EU sanctions since June 2022. In Bolivia, all UAZ models are sold – Hunter, Patriot, Profi, SGR – and Lada Niva is also officially imported.
