During his long life, Vladimir Zhirinovsky traveled with many, of course, including expensive cars, but his first four-wheeled purchase was the Soviet ZAZ-695, also known as the Humpback Zaporozhets. In a relatively recent interview with the Vesti TV channel, the deceased spoke with nostalgia about this purchase.
In particular, Zhirinovsky said that he is still concerned about the stolen windshield wipers forty years ago. And also about the first car trip on the “Zaporozhets” along the route, which includes Moscow, Kharkov, Anapa, Sukhum, Kutaisi, Tbilisi. In total, young Zhirinovsky traveled over 3 thousand km in a small car.

“I bumped into a piglet in Georgia, it jumped up and kept going. How to stop the car if the piglets run across the road? The road, any adventure. I just arrived in Tbilisi, I parked the car at night, in the morning the doormen already rang. I still remember, I can not calm down, ”said Vladimir Volfovich ironically.
In general, the politician has a fairly spacious garage, in which Soviet retro cars occupy most of the space.
Therefore, a real rarity in the politician’s fleet is the Kineshma motor car from an American lawnmower, produced by the Avtoagregat company with a circulation of 350 copies.
However, the first memory of the car, according to Zhirinovsky, is the neighbor’s 401st Moskvich.
“This car came for a coroner who lives next door.
“Then I got off and sat down where the driver was and he let me start, I was seven or eight,” he said.
– The head of the Liberal Democratic Party said in an interview with the Silver Rain radio station.

At the end of 2014, an experimental electric “Yo-mobile” combined in blue and black was registered in the fleet of Vladimir Volfovich. The car was personally presented to the politician by billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, who acted as the ideological inspirer and main investor of the project.
The gift for the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party came as a complete surprise, but he was grateful to the businessman and promised to drive a car to the country. The donated car was a crossover with a power plant. True, the politician, unfortunately, did not have the opportunity to use environmentally friendly transport for a long time.
In January 2017, Zhirinovsky complained about problems with the car. Yo-mobile’s traction battery specially designed for this car has failed. So it was difficult to replace or find a similar one.
A special pride of the fleet of Vladimir Zhirinovsky was the civilian version of the Tiger armored car.
This all-terrain vehicle was specially assembled for a party activist at the Gorky Automobile Plant in 2006.

The awesome car was painted the navy blue of the party and party symbols were placed on the sides. The armored car was made in the VIP configuration, which was distinguished by a black leather interior and air conditioning. Engine power was 215 horsepower.
The LDPR leader was pleased with the car, which he told GAZ representatives and even planned to travel to Russia. But the fate of “Tiger” Zhirinovsky was different.
In 2014, the politician gave an armored car as a gift to the people’s Lugansk militia. Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who praised the vehicle, also attended the ceremony, explaining that the “Tiger” was designed for special operations, went through any swamp and was equipped with powerful devices.

In addition to these cars, the politician’s garage includes the 21st Volga, which the Nizhny Novgorod Automobile Plant presented to Zhirinovsky on his 60th birthday.
In total, the deceased tied 13 cars to collection cars, including Moskvich, Pobeda, Chaika and the Soviet party limousine ZIL.
At various times, the media has also rewarded the politician for owning modern luxury cars such as Rolls-Royce Phantom, Mercedes-AMG S 65, Maybach, Cadillac Escalade and others.
The leader of the LDPR party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, died on April 6 at the age of 76. The cause of death was complications from COVID-19.
