The compact crossover will reportedly be called Tanggu. It is built on the T1X modular platform, which is used in various Chery models, including the well-known Tiggo 8 in Russia.
The dimensions of the Kaiyi Tanggu are similar to the Chery Tiggo 8 and are 4716x1860x1718 mm, with a wheelbase of 2710 mm. The car received a frameless grille, narrow LED optics and bright logos.
It is known that the crossover will be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine. Also, the model will receive a hybrid modification based on an atmospheric engine of the same volume and an electric motor with a power reserve of 120 km. It is assumed that Kaiyi Tanggu in the domestic market will cost from 80 to 110 thousand yuan (860 thousand to 1.2 million rubles at the current rate).
