AFK Sistema is interested in purchasing a Volkswagen factory in Kaluga. The Kazakh company Allur, which is involved in the production of cars and has Chinese shareholders involved in the release of Volkswagen in China, will also be involved in the purchase, according to sources.
AFC and Allure have not yet responded. Volkswagen Group Rus said it is considering asset sales, but no decision has been made yet.
