Expert warns of penalty for storing tires in underground parking 03:35

Pavel Kozminykh, fire safety expert and founder of the Fire Check mobile app, said RIA Real EstateIn Russia, it is forbidden to store car tires in parking lots in underground parking lots, ignoring this rule threatens with a fine of up to 15 thousand rubles.

He reminded that in accordance with the safety rules, it is forbidden to keep flammable, bulky and flammable materials, including summer and winter tires, in underground car parks. The expert noted that most car owners prefer to keep the tires there in the wrong season.

“It should be hidden in separate rooms,” Kozminykh explained.

He recalled that in 2022 the penalty for violating fire safety requirements has been increased: five times for individuals – up to 15 thousand rubles, twice for legal entities – up to 400 thousand rubles.

The expert added that fines for repeated violations of the rules increase to 20 and 800 thousand rubles for citizens and legal entities, respectively.

Former tire specialist Oleg Rastegaev reportedthat the reagents “kill” by puncturing the wheels.
