February 20 and 21, 2023 have been declared working days at the plant of the Korean car manufacturer Hyundai in St. Petersburg. Bearing in mind that car production there was suspended in March last year and the factory has been shut down ever since, insiders suggest this will be a “roll call” from workers.
At the same time, at the beginning of the month, it became known that the procedure for dismissing employees had begun at the company. The process must be completed by February 19. As previously reported, employees are dismissed by agreement of the parties with payment of 12 salaries + 0.5 salary for each full year of work in the company.
According to some reports, just in time for February 20, there should be some certainty with the buyer of the factory from Kazakhstan and the outlook for body production for Astana Motors.
