12% plan to sell their car this year, but nearly half of respondents (48%) don’t make such plans, Rabota.ru and SberAvto discovered.
Of those who decide to sell, 73% are planning to purchase a new one, eighteen% – to invest in a larger purchase.
15% – because it is expensive to maintain, and 3% there was an opportunity to sell the vehicle profitably.
What do buyers think of the new car market?
The survey also revealed how potential buyers perceive the prospects of the car market. 60% believe that prices will continue to rise in all segments this year, 21% – that growth will be smooth and only extend to certain segments.
eleven% believe that there will be no sharp price increase in 2023, and 8% even count on their gradual decline in some segments of the car market.
