Afghan experts from ENTOP have released a prototype of the country’s first supercar, the Mada 9. informs TV channel ToloNews. It took the engineers five years to create the car.
Since 2021, authorities in Afghanistan control the Taliban movement (the organization is banned in Russia). Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid posted a photo of the car on his social media page, saying that Mada 9 was the pride of his country and thanked everyone who worked on it. In response, ENTOP chairman Mohammad Reza Ahmadi noted that the supercar should strengthen Afghanistan’s image in the international arena.
The specifications of Mada 9 are still unknown. According to some reports, a modified power unit from a Toyota Corolla, adapted for serious loads, was installed on the supercar. In the future, it is planned to equip the car with an electric motor.
The body of the supercar is made of composite materials. It is possible that the Mada 9 will receive a suspension with variable ground clearance for off-road driving.
Mada 9 will be tested in the near future. The car will be offered in the local market, but it is possible for some of the cars to be exported.
Previously reportedSuzuki has introduced a five-door version of the Jimny compact SUV. The new modification of the car will go on sale in the Indian market.
