In Novokuznetsk, a man set fire to an Oka car to watch it burn. About informs regional interior ministry The incident occurred on Donetska street.

“Kuibyshevsky police department of the city of Novokuznetsk of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia received information about the firing of the “Oka” car. Investigators determined that the fire was caused by arson. Gasoline splashed on the hood of the car, as a result of which the car was completely burned and became unusable. The amount of damage amounted to 35,000 rubles.

A local resident who admitted to committing arson during the search was detained. According to him, he set up arson to watch the car burn. At the same time, he was in a drunken state at the time of the atrocities. After the car caught fire, the attacker called the fire department, fearing that the fire would spread to surrounding buildings.

A man faces up to 5 years in prison for willfully damaging someone else’s property.
