The Alfa group of companies has become the official distributor of the Swedish truck manufacturer Scania in the Russian market. The European concern transferred all Russian assets to it: the headquarters, several service centers and a training center.
Until September of this year, Scania sold its trucks through its subsidiary Scania Rus. In September 2022, the Swedish automaker announced its withdrawal from Russia.
With the new distributor, as expected, the dealers who remained with the Swedish brand in Russia will continue to work. Today there are about 80 of them all over the country.
But the work of assembly production in the suburbs of St. Petersburg will not resume.
