KAMAZ will reduce sales from 44 to 40 thousand vehicles (about 9%), but the company plans to increase production and sales of tractors with K5 and K4 cabs by 60%. The cost of adapting new models will incur costs that will reduce the factory’s profits.
The share of K4 and K5 trucks will increase by 17% and amount to 26% of the plant’s total production. This is 10.6 thousand cars, most of which will be K5.
After the departure of the Daimler group from Russia, KAMAZ decided not to copy the German cabin, but to improve it. The K5 cab tipper will be launched at the end of 2023, although this was planned for early 2022.
