It became known when AVTOVAZ will start production at the Nissan plant

This was stated by the head of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov – in his opinion, the unification of production processes, as well as unified safety standards, logistics, team management at Nissan and AVTOVAZ plants make it possible to quickly launch the conveyor in St. Petersburg .

“We plan to do this in the second half of next year”– said Maxim Sokolov.

He also noted that negotiations with a partner, which provides the supply of car kits for vehicle assembly at the Nissan plant, are expected to be completed in January-February 2023. Admittedly, neither the partner nor the models scheduled for release have been announced yet.

According to preliminary information, these will be Chinese cars.
