Kaliningrad Avtotor has purchased equipment for its new foundry and mechanical plant, which is being built as part of the SPIC. The official website of the company reports that the plant will produce aluminum blanks for the production of electric motors.
Part of the equipment is produced in Russia, part is supplied from other countries. The list includes two furnaces for the preparation of aluminum alloys, as well as machines for the production of profiles by extrusion, capable of producing lightweight bodies and frames. In addition, it is the intention to use robots in the injection molding complex.
In addition to the foundry, Avtotor creates factories for electric motors, batteries, electronic systems, plastics, robotics, non-standard equipment and tools, as well as a factory for compact electric vehicles, as part of the SPIC. Now the company in Kaliningrad is actively attracting highly qualified specialists from other regions.
And it is planned to resume the production of cars from the assembly of cars of Chinese brands.
Requires 7,000 tires in popular sizes
