In Russia, the issuance of OSAGO, which is relevant for both the Russian Federation and Belarus, is being actively worked on, said the head of the All-Russian Union of Insurers Evgeny Ufimtsev.
“In addition to the OSAGO policy, we will have the option for a person to immediately take out an annual policy with an extension to Belarus. The stage (product development) is very big, we will probably launch it in January (2023 – ed.)” said Ufimtsev.
According to the head of the ARIA, the policy will be in demand in the regions bordering Belarus and in the regions of the neighboring country bordering the Russian Federation. If the Russians acquire OSAGO with an extension to the fraternal republic, then the Belarusians – with an extension to Russia. The price of the service is not yet known.
It is planned to carry out the same project with Kazakhstan, Armenia and other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
