Russian car dealers have submitted an application to the Ministry of Industry and Trade requesting that cars of the French brand Renault be included in the state demand support program.
An industry source said:
“The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has been approaching the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for some time with a proposal to include Renault cars in the preferential car loan program. Yes, and at the recent ROAD forum, dealers approached a representative of the Ministry with such a proposal. So far there has been no answer.”
At the same time, it is noted that there are no more than five thousand cars of this brand in the warehouses of all dealers in Russia. But because they were bought at an extremely expensive rate in May, the demand for them is small.
And participation in the state program of preferential auto loans could help implement it at lower prices for the buyer.
