These car parts are usually the prey of thieves.

Most of all, culprits are attracted to car headlights – they account for 5.6% of insured events related to the theft of auto parts.

According to the insurance company “Consent”, the headlights are most often removed from cars of the brands Porsche (theft rate is 8.6%), Honda (7.9%), BMW (7.8%) and Audi (7.5%) .

“On Porsche models, for example, the mounting system is such that pulling out the headlights is not difficult. These are expensive spare parts, so it is not surprising that they are popular with intruders,” said Alexander Korotin, a UK representative.

The rear lights are half as interesting to thieves as the front lights.

Criminals steal side mirrors (2.2%) and rims (1.8%) even less often.
