Next year, when granting or replacing rights, the traffic police will check with the electronic register, where all medical certificates of drivers will be entered.
If medical contraindications are identified, the driver will be sent for an extraordinary examination.
If he does not appear or the contraindications are confirmed, the traffic police have the right to revoke his driver’s license.
If no contraindications are revealed during the medical examination, but only restrictions on the right to drive, then the driver will have to change the current rights to new ones that will take into account these restrictions.
The relevant amendments have already been adopted by the State Duma at first reading.
